Spruce Year in Review 2019

It’s been another busy and exciting year here at Spruce! As 2019 comes to a close, please join us in reflecting back on the past year and celebrating the wins we’ve had as an organization.  

Our Company

We’ve been fortunate to grow even more this year in tandem with our incredible clients. By building deeper integrations with partners, engineering better product improvements, and prioritizing a customer-first approach, we’ve increased our transaction volume by 8X in 2019.

We’ve also been able to expand our geographic reach, and have added a fourth Spruce hub in Sacramento in addition to New York, Dallas, and Las Vegas.

On the heels of these new transactions, we knew that we needed to add more title & closing experts to the Spruce team. We are excited to have more than doubled our headcount this year, allowing us to ensure the best service and expertise is available for all of our customers as we continue to grow.

Increased Efficiency 

With features such as instant fee disclosures, a dashboard to manage transactions, and the industry’s first end-to-end title & closing API solution, our clients lowered their time to close by an average of 25%. By partnering with Spruce, they are free to pursue more high-touch items like closing more loans and/or scaling into new markets confidently. 


Our Initiatives

This year also saw the creation of the Spruce charity committee, which helps to plan and coordinate charity events and charity drives once per quarter for our Dallas and New York offices. 

This holiday season, our New York team is participating in the New York Cares coat drive, and is collecting winter coats and donations to help those in need. Our Dallas office is helping spread holiday cheer by “adopting” a child. A list of needed items was procured and placed on the office giving Tree. Each team member has had the opportunity to choose a gift from the tree, which will be delivered to a little girl just in time for Christmas. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together as an organization and give back to our communities.
