These 50 women represent a variety of occupations within the housing economy, each demonstrating leadership that inspires those in their own companies, in their communities and in the industry at large.

"The Women of Influence are some of the strongest, most powerful thought leaders in the mortgage industry, paving the way for other women to follow. These women continue to lead across all areas of housing finance, and are the movers and shakers of the housing industry as we know it."

Lisa Robertson, Spruce EVP Real Estate Operations

Lisa has more than thirty years of experience in the mortgage, title, and real estate services industries. Prior to working with Spruce, she was the group senior vice president at Stewart Lender Services.

Over the last year, her leadership is most exemplified by her ability to understand how the real estate industry on the whole is changing. Consumers want a better end-to-end solution–which includes a more digital, cost-effective, and transparent title and escrow process. Lisa often says “the status quo has continued to overshadow innovation in this industry” and fundamentally believes that real estate closings can and should be effortless. Her commitment to transparency and re-imagining the customer experience is at the core of how she manages on a daily basis. By taking this approach, she is leading the charge toward empowering homeowners with their most important asset and making real estate transactions more pleasant experiences for everyone involved.

Lisa has had a multitude of professional accomplishments within the last 12 months, but some that stand out are: Upon joining the Spruce team in October 2018, she was tasked with opening the new 10,000-square-foot office in Dallas. The Texas office was a pivotal step toward scaling operations beyond the New York headquarters–enabling us to serve more clients nationwide. Lisa’s proven track record and success in building great teams, with a focus on the needs of mortgage lender and real estate clients, made her uniquely qualified for this challenge.
