We have exciting company news–we’ve raised $60M in Series C funding. I’m incredibly proud of what the Spruce team has accomplished working alongside our innovative clients, and while we’re just getting started, I’ve never been more confident in the future of digital real estate transactions–and the role Spruce can play as the foundation of this online infrastructure. I’m grateful to partner with Zigg Capital, who led the round, and existing investors including Bessemer VP and Scale VP. Our longstanding relationships with our investors point to their conviction in what we’re building alongside our clients–and I’m happy to have their ongoing support.
From the beginning, Spruce has been about making real estate transactions simpler, more affordable, and transparent for everyone involved. We wanted to support our clients as they fundamentally improve the way the real estate industry works for everyone.
So far, our many small advancements have resulted in a big impact: we’ve worked with our clients to reduce transaction times by up to 25% on average, save homeowners up to 20% on closing costs, and enable transactions to close on their timetable. We’ve grown more than 450% annually and powered tens of thousands of transactions this year for digitally-focused companies, doing business in 48 U.S. states. Spruce is the only title solution to offer its open API directly on our website, and we work with some of the most innovative companies in the industry.
This latest investment will help us take our mission to build the one-click-checkout for real estate transactions one step further–enabling our team to build upon Spruce’s existing innovations and grow together with our clients.
None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of the 250+ Spruce team members across the country. From prioritizing features on our product roadmap that make clients more efficient, to moving mountains to make sure an individual homebuyer closes on time. Their embodiment of our core values–ambition, resourcefulness, and collaboration–has contributed so much to the continued success and growth for both Spruce and our clients.
Although the path towards our vision of one-click transactions still has many challenges ahead, the resolve shown by our team, partners, and wider community makes me more confident than ever before.
