Our team attended the National Home Rental Council's Industry Leadership Conference in Nashville. It was a great opportunity to have conversations with other industry leaders and clients within the SFR sector, and stay ahead of the game when it comes to what’s next. And of course, we made time for plenty of BBQ and live music!
What’s NRHC? The National Home Rental Council is a trade association that represents the single-family rental and build-to-rent housing sectors, with a mission to keep family housing affordable and great neighborhoods accessible. This was the second in-person Industry Leaders conference hosted by NRHC, and was filled with valuable meetings, panels, and receptions. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with other industry leaders, stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations, and learn from others' experiences. It brought together a true community of top thinkers and real estate professionals from across the country.
Why attend? There are countless reasons we were excited to attend and sponsor the Industry Leaders conference this year as an Advisory Member. First, we wanted to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in the industry. Second, we wanted to catch up with clients and meet other real estate professionals. We also had the opportunity to share our own insights–since we work with some of the top investors in the country, we have a unique perspective on the needs and trends unique to this sector. The conference had a great turnout, with attendees from a range of industries like investors, developers, lenders, operators, and service providers.
Panels: During the conference, our CEO Patrick Burns spoke on a panel about securitization, where he discussed how title comes into play, and what we are expecting from the market. Other panels we attended covered topics such as market trends, risk management, and the role of technology in the industry. It was a great way to learn from other professionals and see how we can improve our services.
Committee Meetings: NRHC’s Member Committee meetings brought together experts to discuss topics like communications, policy, and technology. These meetings provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
As a leading company in the industry, we're proud to be an NRHC advisory member and a diamond sponsor of the 2023 event. We're committed to supporting the NRHC and contributing to its mission of promoting and protecting the interests of the single-family rental and build-to-rent housing sectors.
Overall, the conference was a great success for our team at Spruce. We're excited to be part of the NRHC community and work with other industry leaders to drive innovation and growth in the single-family rental and build-to-rent housing sectors. By attending the conference, we can further expand our understanding of the industry landscape and continue to provide top-notch services for our clients. We're looking forward to attending future events hosted by the NRHC and building relationships with more professionals in the industry.
