As we look back on a busy year in the mobility space, we take pride in being a national platform that addresses the needs of transferees in a pivotal moment of their lives. Our commitment to supporting all stakeholders in the relocation real estate ecosystem has helped us make strides in the industry - reducing the supply chain and streamlining processes to ensure faster closings, lender efficiencies and enhanced transparency. Throughout this year, we have achieved significant milestones, actively participated in events and conferences, engaged in insightful podcasts and continuously sought to innovate within the relocation industry.

Resilience in the Relocation Market

While the broader real estate market has sometimes felt frozen in time by inventory shortages and mortgage rate lock-ins, relocation has proven to weather challenges more efficiently. We recognize that motivated employees, supported by their employers, and a network of preferred suppliers offering unique solutions, play a significant role in this resilience. Programs like mortgage interest subsidies, title insurance premium discounts and other novel solutions can offset some of the increased costs and refocus emphasis on delivering  a smooth and rewarding experience for transferees.

Streamlining the Supply Chain

As Spruce closes transactions directly and does not rely on a distributed network of local title companies, we are the final point of the supply chain and eliminate hundreds of potential points of failure, data loss, fraud, and other security issues.. Our centralized operations model has not only saved time and money for our clients but has also created a seamless and secure relocation process, as testified by our partner, Joe Cardini, from Bristol.

Client-centric Approach

Our value propositions have resonated with new clients for several reasons, including cost savings, minimized friction, reduced errors, and increased revenue potential - ultimately leading to decreased client and employer costs. The modern, tech-enabled closing experience we provide gives our clients a competitive edge in the market. With our automation-focused approach, we have facilitated faster closings, streamlined lender processes and ensured unparalleled transparency for all parties involved in the relocation process.

Conference & Podcast Highlights

One highlight of our year was attending the Global Workforce Symposium (GWS), hosted by Worldwide ERC, where we engaged with over 1,400 members of the workforce mobility industry from more than 40 countries. Spruce co-hosted the Love + Relo podcast, featuring industry expert Ben Cross and our very own Faye Hoxworth, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships - Relocation Services at Spruce. Held at BlueWire Studios at the Wynn in Las Vegas, the live event, including a happy hour, provided the ideal setting for meaningful discussions in the mobility space.

As we reflect on a successful year for mobility - we are grateful for the trust our RMC, brokerage and lender clients have placed in us. Spruce's dedication to innovation, convenience, and transparency has not only positively impacted the industry but also allowed us to continually exceed our clients' expectations. Looking ahead to the future, we see the trajectory of relocation services moving towards increased collaboration in the mobility real estate ecosystem, with mortgage, title, and real estate sectors supporting each other to provide a unified and unparalleled experience.
