Having been born and raised in Scotland, I didn’t celebrate my first Thanksgiving until 2012 when I first spent a November in America. Ever since then, it has been my favorite holiday.
Yes, I love the food, sports, and TV traditions, but above all I love the opportunity to reflect on what I’m thankful for, and this year has been a fantastic one.
Firstly, I’m thankful to our loyal clients, without whom we wouldn’t be here. It’s been a privilege to work with you and watch many of you evolve through periods of strong growth and impressive innovation. We started Spruce to play a role in enabling forward thinking companies to offer great real estate and mortgage experiences, and participating in the revolution that’s happening in these industries is hugely rewarding.
I’m thankful for the thousands of homeowners we’ve been able to work with on what can often be one of the most stressful processes, but is the gateway to a new home or a happier financial situation. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
I’m thankful for all of our vendor partners, from banks to insurance companies, cleaning staff to caterers. Without you we couldn’t function!
I’m deeply, deeply thankful to each and every member of the Spruce family. We’ve been lucky enough to be able to double the size of our team in 2019, and each new member has added something truly unique to our culture and expertise. I’m thankful for your dedication every day, night, and weekend to upholding our values and to achieving our mission.
