For this month’s Employee Spotlight, we’re featuring Susan King, Enterprise Account Executive and key member of our Sales team. Her extensive background and longstanding relationships within real estate have helped to strengthen our partnerships with innovative leaders across the industry. Outside of work, Susan enjoys time with her new twin grandchildren, traveling, loves outdoor activities and taking her Little Sister (Big Brother Big Sister Program) on adventures.

What is your go-to work playlist?

What do you consider your career super power?

My “why.”

Asking the right questions to better engage in relationships through collaboration and creativity.

As a results-oriented individual, it’s my responsibility to know the “why” in order to carry the charge with strong conviction in my personal and professional life. By asking the “why” (why the client chose Spruce, why we didn’t win, what can we do better), I can be a better partner and teammate.

What advice would you give yourself from day one of your career?

I was given advice that I pass on to all sales professionals…Your tenacity is contagious however, be patient! Sales is a marathon - not a sprint. (A personal goal of mine was a ½ marathon Run Rock ‘n’ Roll Vegas–there are lots of similar comparisons with not giving up and seeing through the finish line.)

By providing a single solution on a national level with industry expertise!
