Here at Spruce, it’s our mission to make real estate transactions simple, affordable, and effortless for everyone involved. In light of the COVID-19 news, I wanted to reach out to you directly with an update on the steps we’re taking to prioritize the health and wellness of our team and clients––while also ensuring our mission is not impacted.

First and foremost, all of our team members across Spruce's three operations hubs are working remotely. Ensuring business continuity is always top of mind for us, which is why we built a work from home culture into our operating procedures from the very beginning.

Spruce is well-positioned to stay resilient to disruptions as our proprietary cloud-based software allows essential processes to be completed digitally. We’ve built on these efficiencies by implementing operational redundancies across our locations to safeguard physical operational processes.

We’re actively working with our national notary network to provide Safe & Secure closings nationwide, which follow the same pattern as regular mobile signings, except they incorporate social distancing and guidelines provided by the National Notary Association. Spruce is also expanding the use of Remote Online Notarization (RON) nationwide where new emergency orders have made it applicable. Please see more information on eClosings here

If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your dedicated service leaders or our Client Success Team at success@spruce.co or 888.665.7535. As the situation evolves, Spruce leadership will continue to closely monitor local and national guidance. We will keep you apprised of any changes and be sure to proactively communicate anything that may be expected to impact real estate closings.

Thank you for your continued partnership, and we extend our thoughts and sympathies to those who may be impacted by this situation.
